Took a 3 foot fall onto the kitchen tile in our house in Dayton last Tuesday with nothing but a small chip in the seasoning, so now I want to know what the oldest piece of cookware in your kitchen is and whether it has ever actually failed you.
Funny thing is old stuff that was made right just keeps working while the new stuff falls apart. My grandma's cast iron is older than my mom and it still cooks better than any nonstick pan I've ever bought. We got so used to replacing everything every few years that we forgot some things are just built to outlast us.
