Nail gun rebuild after 9 seasons of leaf blower duty
My old pneumatic nail gun sat in the truck bed all summer while I used the blower, so the O-rings dried out and it started leaking air bad. I grabbed a $12 rebuild kit from the hardware store in Lansing and swapped the seals last Sunday, took about 40 minutes with a pick and some grease. Has anyone else revived a tool with a cheap gasket set like this, or do you just retire them once they start acting up?
