Picked a $130 Ariat belt over the $30 one at the Fort Worth stockyards, 9 months in it still looks new

The cheap one cracked at the holes in about 4 months, the thick leather one just keeps going and the holes haven't stretched at all. Anyone else go through a few cheap belts before finally buying one that holds up?
