Stop trusting that little rubber O ring in your air tool fittings
I do commercial flooring and I kept losing pressure on my nailers every few weeks, swapped hoses, rebuilt the compressor, all that. Finally checked the quick connect fittings and the cheap O rings inside were dried out and cracked, bought a pack of proper Viton ones for like $8 and I havent touched it since. The ones that come in most fittings are just plain Buna and they die fast if you use a lot of oil in your line. Has anyone else burned time chasing a leak that turned out to be a 30 cent part?
