Hot take: my garage went from 40 boxes of junk to an empty floor in 2 days because I stopped saving stuff for a yard sale
I had 40 boxes stacked in my garage for 3 years, all stuff I kept saying I would sell at a yard sale someday. Two Saturdays ago I posted it all here and on the curb instead, and by Sunday night the garage floor was bare. The yard sale math finally hit me: I would have sat outside for 8 hours to make maybe $60 on junk I don't even like. Giving it away took zero haggling and zero hauling leftovers to Goodwill. What's the longest you've held onto something waiting to sell it before you just let it go for free?
