Just found out my old bread machine is worth $120 on eBay
I was about to drop off my old bread machine at the thrift store yesterday. It's one of those Zojirushi models from like 2006 that still works perfect. I decided to check eBay sold listings out of curiosity and almost dropped my phone. People are paying $120 to $150 for these things used. I had it listed on our Buy Nothing group this morning but I'm gonna pull that post and sell it instead. Has anyone else found stuff they were about to give away that turned out to be worth real money?

Man I did the exact same thing with an old KitchenAid mixer last year... my mom was gonna give it to Goodwill because she got a new one. I checked eBay on a whim and saw they go for like $200 even with some scratches. Ended up selling it for $180 in like two days. Now I check everything before I toss it out. That Zojirushi find is legit too, those things are tanks.

That's exactly how I got hooked on flipping stuff... I found an old bread machine at a garage sale for five bucks, thought nothing of it. Turns out it was one of those discontinued models people go crazy for on eBay. Sold it for like 75 bucks and now I can't stop looking at random stuff with dollar signs in my eyes. My wife's getting sick of me picking up old blenders and coffee grinders at thrift stores though...
