Rant: my $40 Marketplace recliner snapped at the frame after 3 weeks, give it back or keep it quiet?
Picked up a free recliner off a curb in Elmwood Park back in April, and last Tuesday the whole left side of the frame just gave out while I was sitting in it. Now I'm stuck between two sides: do I message the giver and let them know their chair hurt someone, or just haul it to the curb and say nothing since it was free? Half of me thinks free means no promises, the other half thinks they should know before they offer the matching sofa. What would you all do here?
