The $40 air mattress that kept deflating, passed it on or tossed it?
Picked up a queen air mattress at a garage sale for $40 last month. Thought it was a steal. First night, woke up on the floor. Found a slow leak near the valve. Couldn't patch it, the seam was too weird. So now I'm stuck: do I give it away and risk someone else's bad night, or just throw it in the trash? I lean toward tossing it, but that feels wasteful. Anyone else pass on a broken item and regret it? Or did someone actually fix something like this?
Risk someone else's bad night" is honestly the most generous way I've ever heard someone describe passing on a cursed mattress. Toss it, and consider the $40 a donation to your spine's future.
