Pocket hole vs dowels on a job site, one was way faster

Built two identical bathroom vanities last month, one with dowels and one with pocket screws. The dowel one took about 4 extra hours and I still had to clamp everything twice. Anyone else ditch dowels for pocket holes on production work?

Ditching dowels completely after a similar job last spring. Honestly, that extra time you spent clamping and rechecking is exactly why I switched. Pocket holes just let me keep moving, and on production work, speed matters more than tradition. Those 4 extra hours could have been another piece or just going home early. Ngl, I still use dowels for furniture at home, but on site, it's pocket holes every time.
