PSA: the dollar store milk crate beats my fancy drawer organizer every time
I keep my router bits in a $1.25 plastic crate from the Family Dollar in Bedford, and it holds about 40 of them standing straight up so I can grab one without digging. Last month I got annoyed with how it looked and bought a wood drawer insert with felt slots for $45. Bits kept tipping over and two of the 1/4 inch shanks got chipped on the felt lip. The ugly crate is back on the bench and the fancy insert is holding paint stirrers now. What do you all use that actually keeps bits from rolling around?
