Back in the day I bought a $200 'universal' crimper that mangled every connector

It was supposed to handle everything from RG6 to RG11, but I ended up having to redo a whole apartment building's drops. Anyone still have a solid brand recommendation for a real crimper that won't fail?

My buddy at the local supply house swears by the Paladin PA1410 for coax. He said their die sets are machined way better than most generic kits. I saw one in his van and the thing is built like a tank, no plastic parts. That universal tool junk is always a gamble, it's worth getting the right tool for the job.

Sounds like your buddy knows his stuff, unlike me with my universal tool last week lol.
