Just realized cheap connectors aren't worth the savings in the long run
I always bought the lowest price connectors to keep job costs down. After a bunch of failed terminations led to signal loss calls, I switched to a mid-grade brand. Now I see that reliable connections prevent headaches and keep customers happy.

Learned that lesson the hard way after some cheap patch cables I bought shorted out a whole rack. The extra few bucks for decent ones saved me so much trouble later.

My old apartment had that with basic light switches. Went cheap on replacements, had to redo them all in a year. Same with kitchen knives. Bought a discount set, dulled so fast it cost more in time and frustration than just getting one good chef's knife upfront. That false savings thing is everywhere.

Is it really worth the extra cash, @pathenderson?
