Spent $40 on a new fish tape and it was the best money I've spent this year
My old one finally snapped last week in a tricky wall run at a house in the north end. I grabbed this new one with a thicker steel core and a better handle from the supply house. The difference was huge, I pulled three separate lines through a 50-foot exterior wall chase yesterday without a single snag or kink. It just fed through like butter, saved me probably an hour of fighting with it. Anyone have a favorite brand or type they stick with for heavy daily use?

Yeah "best money spent" made me laugh, my buddy said the same thing after his last job. He was rewiring his garage and his old tape snapped, left him with a huge mess. Grabbed one of these new ones and said it felt like cheating, got everything done in half a day. He's not the type to get excited about tools but he was texting me about it for a week lol.
