The dispatch software keeps missing key details on my assignments
I was out on a call yesterday and the system said it was just a box swap, but the place had outdated wiring that needed a full re-run. Had to go back to the van, dig for parts, and my whole afternoon got thrown off. It's like the software doesn't even check the property history or something. Does this happen to you all? How do you prep for surprises like that?

Ugh, my dispatch software must be related to my own brain. I forget my lunch half the time. Honestly I just assume every job is a guessing game now. My van is so overloaded with extra parts because I got tired of those surprises. It looks like a hardware store blew up in there.

Seriously, it's like that everywhere now. We all just learn to carry our own backups because nothing works right the first time.

Yeah, I see this everywhere now... like when apps give you directions but don't account for road closures or traffic. They rely on old data and assume everything's up to date, but real life's messy. My cousin's a plumber and he says the same thing, his dispatch sends him to jobs with half the info missing... it's like the software's designed by people who've never done the actual work.
