Found out from a YouTube doc that MTV once aired 24 hours of a single music video
I was watching a video about weird TV stunts from the 80s and it brought up how MTV ran the same video over and over for a full day back in 1984 as a stunt. I guess the band was mad about something and the channel just kept playing it, and people actually sat there and watched the loop. What got me was the number, a whole 24 hours of one video, which sounds insane next to how fast channels change things up now. Does anybody actually remember catching any of that live, or is it one of those things everyone heard about but nobody saw?
