Hot take: my uncle in Cleveland was wrong about TNT's MonsterVision being better than USA Up All Night
My uncle Ray swore up and down that MonsterVision with Joe Bob Briggs was the only late night movie block worth watching on cable, and he told me USA Up All Night was just cheap filler. I believed him for a while until I spent a summer at my cousin's place in Akron and we only had basic cable, so Up All Night was my only option. Turns out Rhonda Shear and Gilbert Gottfried doing the bumpers made bad B movies way more fun than Joe Bob's drawl ever did for me. MonsterVision had better flicks, sure, but the whole point was laughing at how awful the movies were. Anyone else team Up All Night or am I out here alone on this one?
