Reconsidering my stance on Nickelodeon after a chat with my cousin

I always thought Nick was just for kids, even in the 90s, but my cousin in Cleveland argued that shows like Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare actually pushed us to think faster and work as a team. She pointed out how the physical challenges in season 3 of Double Dare made us get off the couch, which I never really considered. Honestly, hearing her break down the problem solving in those game shows made me realize I was too snobby about it. Has anyone else flip flopped on a channel they used to dismiss?
