The week in 1996 when my cousin slept over and we watched 14 hours of Cartoon Network
My cousin stayed at our house in Ohio for a whole week in July 1996 and we parked ourselves in front of the TV for what felt like a million hours. We were hooked on Cartoon Network's Super Chunk block, and we taped all of Jonny Quest and Space Ghost Coast to Coast onto VHS so we could rewatch them at night. On Tuesday my mom unplugged the cable box by mistake while vacuuming and we missed the only airing of the Bugs Bunny marathon, which we did not forgive her for until like 2003. The weird part is our Friday got even better when Cartoon Network ran a 6 hour Toonami preview and we saw the first Dragon Ball Z promo. Did any of you tape shows off cable back then, and do you still have the tapes somewhere in a box?

Toonami didn't start until 1997.
