I finally got my EDD payment after 11 weeks, the thing that fixed it was calling the Fresno office at 8am
My claim got stuck in pending for 11 weeks with zero letters explaining why. I called the main 800 number 14 times and every rep gave me a different answer. Last Tuesday I tried the Fresno regional office instead, right when they opened at 8am, and got a real person in 6 minutes. She found that my doctor's form had a missing box and fixed it while I was on the phone. Money hit my account 48 hours later. So my tip is skip the main line and call a local office the second they open. Has anyone else had luck with a specific office or is it just random?

My cousin swore by the Oakland office at 8am too.
