Lost my wheelchair ramp spot at the DMV and nearly cried in line

Last Tuesday I waited 45 minutes at the San Jose DMV for the accessible parking spot near the front door, and some guy in a lifted truck just slid in when I was circling back around. I had to park three rows out and roll through the rain, and by the time I got inside my chair was soaked and my hands were shaking. Has anyone else had luck getting the DMV to actually ticket those drivers, or is it just a free-for-all out there?

Did you try reporting it through the DMV's online comment form? I did that once with a timestamp and plate number, and they actually followed up and confirmed they mailed a ticket to the driver.
