Bought a $15 headlamp at a yard sale in Tulsa, and it outlasted my $60 one
I grabbed a beat up headlamp at a yard sale in Tulsa for $15 and figured it would be a backup at best. It ended up running three full nights on one set of batteries while my $60 name brand light quit on the second night. Did I just get lucky with a cheap old light, or are the fancy ones relying on their name more than their parts?
So are we just gonna pretend like my $80 light didn't die on me last camping trip while my buddy's cheap one kept going? lol I've spent way too much money on gear that quit on me, so I feel your pain. Maybe the old stuff was just built tougher before they figured out they could charge more for a sticker.
