Spent 6 hours trying to fix a stuck tent zipper with pliers, and the answer was 2 inches away in my pack
Last weekend at Devil's Lake my tent zipper jammed shut with all my gear inside and I messed with it for 6 hours using pliers, a knife tip, and even candle wax. I was about to cut the door open when my buddy pointed at the tiny zipper cleaner brush that came with the tent and had been sitting in the mesh pocket the whole time. Two passes with that little brush and the zipper slid like new. I felt like a total clown for wrecking the pull tab with pliers first. Does anyone else ignore the cheap little tool that ships with their gear, or is that just me?
