Hit 100 rejections on job applications last Tuesday and it actually helped me focus
I was keeping a spreadsheet for fun, not even trying to track failures. When I hit exactly 100 no's I stopped and looked back at the types of roles I applied for. The first 50 were all over the place, marketing, admin, customer service. The last 50 were mostly digital marketing assistant jobs because I got tired of wasting time. That number made me realize I was scared to pick one path. Now I only apply to jobs that have "social media" or "content" in the title. Has anyone else seen a pattern in their rejection pile that changed how you search?

Oh man, 100 rejections sounds like the kind of milestone you'd buy yourself a cake for if it wasn't so depressing. Did you at least get a participation trophy for all that effort?

Used to think that was just people being dramatic. But nope. That kind of rejection grind messes with your head.
