Hot take: my $1,200 bootcamp cert got me zero job offers

I paid $1,200 for a 6 week online data analyst bootcamp back in January because their site said grads get hired fast. Finished it, got the little certificate, and applied to about 60 jobs over 3 months in the Dallas area. Two callbacks, both asking why I had no real projects or internship. The course was just videos and quizzes, no actual client work. If you are thinking about a quick cert, ask to see real job placement numbers first, has anyone here actually gotten hired off one of these?
