Walked into my old community college in Boise and saw the trade program had 9 students, down from 40
I was there to drop off a form for my nephew and ended up talking to the shop teacher, who said they cut the welding section in half because nobody signs up anymore. He's been there 22 years and told me most of his students now come back after a bachelor's doesn't pan out. Anyone else seeing trade programs shrink like this, or is it just my area?

Boise's one spot, maybe trade programs elsewhere are packed for all we know.
