Unpopular opinion: that $80 corner clamp jig was the worst money I spent last season
I picked one up in March thinking it would speed up my cabinet face frames, but it slipped on every joint and I ended up burning a whole Saturday redoing two doors. I'm out the 80 bucks plus about 20 feet of maple I had to scrap, and honestly my old pipe clamps and a square did the job faster. Did anyone find a way to make those jigs actually hold, or am I just better off sticking with what I know?
Used to swear by my corner jig until it slipped on a face frame and cost me a whole afternoon too. Pipe clamps and a good square just work, and now mine sits in a drawer.
