Watched a guy frame a whole wall with his tape hooked on the wrong side of the stud
Last Tuesday I was doing a deck rebuild in Boise and the guy helping me kept coming up 3/4 inch short on every single plate cut, then blaming my tape. Turns out he was hooking the end on the far side of the stud and reading the mark backwards, which is why his cuts kept landing wrong. Has anyone else run into someone who learned it that way and just never had it corrected?
