Can we talk about the carpet in the new wing of the Everett library
I was there last Thursday and the whole section has this really thick, patterned loop pile. It looks great, but I could see a ton of seam peaking along the main walkway. It made me wonder if they used a power stretcher at all or just a knee kicker. Has anyone else run into that with a dense loop like that?

My buddy had that exact seam peaking thing happen in his office.

Yeah, that seam peaking on a dense loop is a pain. We had to double-check the power stretcher tension and really work the seams with a carpet iron. Eva_thompson10 is right, it happens a lot. Getting the humidity right in the room before the install was key for us.

@matthew864 probably knows his stuff, but that humidity trick is always the real gamble.
