I thought the $1.50 rotisserie chicken at Costco was a myth until last Tuesday
Kept hearing people say you can get a whole cooked chicken for a buck fifty and I figured it was some grocery store legend. Finally went to the Costco in Aurora last Tuesday around 4pm and there they were, stacked in that warmer case. I grabbed one for $1.50 and it fed me and my roommate dinner plus I pulled the leftovers into tacos the next night. That bird was easily 3 pounds, still hot, and honestly better than the $12 one from the fancy market down the street. I skipped buying their $5 bagged salad and made my own slaw for like 80 cents. Now I'm trying to figure out what else I've been overpaying for, anyone got a cheap protein they swear by?
