My aunt said to always buy whole chickens, and she was totally right
She told me this last year, and I finally tried it last month. I got a whole bird for $6.50, roasted it for dinner, then used the bones for stock and the leftover meat for soup. That one chicken gave me three full meals. Anyone have other cheap cuts of meat that stretch like that?

Yeah, that's the best way to shop... @sanchez.mary is right about pork shoulder too, it's another good one.
