My grandma told me to freeze leftover rice and I laughed. Now I'm eating fried rice for $1.50 a meal.
She pulled out a bag of rice she froze three weeks ago and it was totally fine, not dried out at all. Has anyone else been sleeping on this or am I the last to know lol.

Is it actually good though, or is it just not terrible? I tried freezing rice once and it turned into a gluey mess that stuck together in one sad brick. Worked okay for fried rice after I smashed it apart, but not really worth the freezer space. You do you, grandma I guess.

Sleeping on this" is a bit dramatic, it's just frozen rice. But yeah it works fine for fried rice, not really a game changer.
