Shoutout to the $1.50 can of sardines that fixed my whole lunch problem
For a while there I was burning $9 to $11 a day on lunch near the office in Queens. Started packing a can of sardines, a sleeve of saltines, and a squeeze of mustard. Total comes out to maybe $2.20 a meal. The trick was getting the ones packed in olive oil instead of water, way better on crackers. I rotate in a hard boiled egg when I have them. What cheap cold lunches are you all packing that don't get old after two weeks?
