Had to pick between fixing the walk-in door or buying new sheet pans before Saturday service

I chose the door latch for $211 because a busted gasket was wasting more energy than I was spending on pans, but now I'm flipping eggs with a warped half-sheet and the omelets keep sticking to the middle, anyone else had to sacrifice basic gear for a bigger repair and regret it?
