Ran out of cling film mid-service and lost 20 minutes

Last Friday we hit the dinner rush and I grabbed for the cling film to wrap a batch of proofs and the box was empty. Nobody had restocked it after the lunch shift and I ended up hunting through three storage closets before finding a roll in the back of the walk-in. That whole time tickets were stacking and my pastry station fell way behind, took me almost 20 minutes to get back on track when it should have been thirty seconds of work. Now I keep a backup roll in my own locker and I check it every morning with my knife kit. Has anyone else had a basic supply run out cost them a service or am I just unlucky?
