Had a customer tell me my brush was too worn to clean his liner properly

He was right about the bristles being shot after I checked, now I swap my brush heads every 30 jobs instead of guessing, has anyone else had a customer call them out like that?

That customer actually did you a solid by calling it out, crazy how people notice those little details sometimes lol. I bet most of us just swap brushes when they feel weird and hope for the best, but having a hard number like every 30 jobs makes way more sense. Must have been awkward in the moment though, getting called out like that in front of other people or whatever. Props to you for checking it and actually changing your system instead of getting defensive about it. Stuff like this is why I always keep spare heads in my kit now, just in case someone gets eagle eyes on me.

30 jobs is a pretty random number to swear by, honestly feels like something a Reddit thread would come up with rather than actual science. @cameron426 I get keeping spares is smart but I don't think most customers are scrutinizing your brush head mid job unless it's visibly shedding or leaving streaks. Getting called out once and completely overhauling your system seems a little dramatic but hey if it gave him peace of mind then whatever works.
