Hot take: my neighbor in Fresno said to skip fast fashion for a year and just repair what I own, and my closet actually got better
She runs a sewing class at the community center and bet me $50 I couldn't go 12 months without buying new clothes, so I patched jeans and rehemmed shirts instead.
