First time running a probe cycle with macros beat hand setting every time

I spent 9 years manually touching off every tool with paper and a 1-2-3 block. Last Tuesday I finally let the Haas probe macros do the work on a repeat job, 12 tools, and it took 14 minutes total. I was skeptical because the probe cost was steep, but the repeatability on a 0.0005 tolerance part was spot on shot after shot. What pushed me over was watching my counterpart run the same setup in half the time and still having coffee in his mug. Anyone else switch over and never look back, or do you still trust your touch off routine?

Took me about three jobs to fully trust the probe on repeat setups. Had a similar moment where the old way was costing me way more time than I wanted to admit. The first time I ran 10 tools without touching a single one, I just stood there watching the cycle like it was gonna mess up. It never did, and now hand touching feels like something I do only when the probe is down for maintenance.
