A 30-day API course for $35 was my crash course in reality

I paid for a beginner API course on Udemy last month and it honestly saved me from hours of confusion with Postman and basic GET requests. The teacher's example used a weather service and that finally clicked for me. Has anyone else paid for a course that actually made things stick compared to free YouTube videos?

Oh man, I totally get this. I bought a $20 SQL course after failing to learn from free tutorials for weeks. The difference was that the paid course had a project you built step by step, and that made everything click. Free videos are fine for quick answers, but they jump around too much when you are starting from zero. Sometimes spending a little money forces you to actually sit down and finish the thing. That weather service example sounds way more useful than the fake data I was stuck on.
