The librarian at my local branch in Boise showed me a free coding class site and it actually clicked for me
I was at the Boise library branch on Cole Road last Tuesday killing time, and the librarian pointed me to a free coding site called freeCodeCamp on one of their public computers. I blew through 12 lessons in about 2 hours without even noticing the time go by. What got me was how it made me type real code right from the start instead of just watching videos. I've tried a few paid apps before and always quit by day 3, but this one had me writing little loops and stuff that actually ran. Anyone else here learn better by doing it hands on instead of following along with a tutorial?
