Just looked at my coffee spending for the last 3 months and almost choked
I was doing my budget last night and decided to add up all my coffee purchases from July through September. I'm not talking about beans from fancy roasters or equipment. Just the cups I bought at coffee shops around town in Nashville. It came to $247. That's basically a car payment for a cheap car. I usually grab a latte on my way to deliver packages and then sometimes another one if I stop for lunch. I never really thought about it because it's just $4 or $5 here and there. But seeing that number on paper made me realize I could have bought a really nice grinder or a ton of whole beans for that. Has anyone else added up their daily coffee shop habit and gotten a shock? I'm thinking about cutting back to just making pour overs at home for a while.
