That $15 grinder advice from a total stranger saved my mornings
Stood in line at a shop in Portland last month. Guy behind me saw my bag of whole beans. Said my cheap blade grinder was ruining them. Told me to grab a hand burr grinder for $15. I laughed it off, figured he was just snobby. Bought one anyway out of curiosity. Huge difference in flavor. Easier than I expected, takes 2 minutes. Anyone else sleep on the cheap hand grinders for too long?

Wait, did I stumble into a parallel universe where $15 actually buys something decent? I've wasted more than that on fancy coffee gadgets that just sit in my drawer collecting shame.
