Question about that $40 "AI productivity" app I paid for and used twice
Back in January I got suckered into a year of some app that promised to plan my day for me. It cost $40 and I used it for maybe two days before the reminders started piling up and I felt like I had a second boss. The thing kept suggesting I wake up at 5:30 to do deep work, which is funny because I work nights at a warehouse in Toledo. I finally opened it last night to cancel and saw I still had eight months left on the plan. My brother laughed and said that's just a fancy calendar with anxiety. The worst part is I already have a paper planner that cost $8 and I actually use it. Has anyone here actually stuck with one of these planner apps past the first month, and if so what made it work?
Five thirty deep work is wild when you clock in at night. Those apps want everyone on the same schedule. Your paper planner wins because you actually open it. The best system is the one you don't hate. Forty bucks for a second boss, no thanks.
