I finally found a way to organize my pull list that actually sticks
For about 2 years my pull list was a mess and I kept missing issues because I was trying to track everything in my head or on random sticky notes. Last month I tried a simple index card system in a plastic sleeve inside my long box, one card per title with the issue number and the date I picked it up, and it finally clicked. The trick was putting the card right at the front of each title's section so I see it the second I open the box, not tucked in a notebook somewhere. I've picked up 14 issues in the past 5 weeks and haven't missed a single one or double bought anything, which sounds dumb but is a first for me. I also write the shop name and the week on the card, so when I'm at the register I can glance and know what I already have. It takes maybe 30 seconds after each visit and I'm not digging through a bag of receipts at home anymore. Has anyone else tried a paper system like this, or do you all just use an app at this point?
