My back issue box got soaked at a con in Seattle, here's how I saved it

My buddy Danny had the same thing happen with his Warhammer boxes at PAX one year, but he didn't realize until he got back to his hotel room. The whole corner of the box was mush and the foam inside was soaked. He tried to just dry it out with a hairdryer on low, which worked okay but left this weird crinkle texture on the cardboard. The next day he put it in a ziplock bag with those little silica packets he saves from beef jerky, and it actually flattened back out pretty decent. He still jokes that his minis now smell faintly of teriyaki. Honestly, your save sounds way cleaner than his did, so props to you for thinking fast.
