Switched from a full face mask to a band mask for a job in Morgan City and it was like night and day
Spent 3 dives fighting my old ratchet strap full face on a muddy pipeline tie-in, then borrowed a buddy's band mask for the last dive and could actually talk to the tender without hand signals, so what brand of band mask are you all running these days?

Man, I had the same thing happen on a job in Fourchon years back, borrowed a buddy's band mask and never touched my old full face again after that. Mine's a Kirby Morgan, holds up fine in the mud. What did your buddy let you try?
