The quietest thing in my kitchen now is the dishwasher

Our old Hobart undercounter unit sounded like a jet engine taking off for the full 90-second cycle. We put up with it for two years because it still cleaned. Last week, we finally swapped it for a new model with a different pump design. The difference is crazy. It's just a low hum now, and you can actually hear the radio over it. Anyone else find a piece of gear that got way quieter with a newer version?
