Dropped $89 on a community center CPR class that taught me nothing hands-on
Signed up for a Saturday CPR and first aid class at the Riverside Community Center in Boise last month, paid $89, and sat through 3 hours of slides while the instructor read off them word for word. We touched the practice dummies for maybe 10 minutes total and never once practiced the choking maneuver. Now I'm out almost a hundred bucks and still don't feel ready to actually help anyone in an emergency. Anyone know of a community program that actually lets you get your hands on the equipment instead of just watching videos?
