Serious question, who do you even call when the neighborhood cleanup flyer has the wrong date on it?
I showed up at Hartley Park on Saturday with gloves and two trash bags because the flyer said 9am, and nobody was there. Turns out the real cleanup was the weekend before and the city printed the wrong date on 400 flyers. Do I call 311 or just show up next month and hope?
Wouldn't 311 be the obvious call? I read somewhere that cities actually track those calls, so even if they can't fix the flyer, it gets logged and someone has to answer for it. Standing in an empty park with two bags of nothing is a bad look for the city, and they know it. I'd call, be polite, and ask them to confirm the next date in writing before you haul your gloves out again. Showing up next month on a guess just means you might be the only one there a second time.
