I finally figured out the bus transfer timing at the 5th and Main stop after missing it 6 times
For 3 weeks I kept missing my transfer at 5th and Main because the app said the second bus came at 7:42 but it actually pulls out at 7:39 on the dot. I stood there with my coffee watching it leave 6 different mornings before I asked a driver why the app was wrong, and he told me the schedule changed in March but nobody updated the app. Now I just get to the stop by 7:35 and stand near the front door so the driver sees me. Has anyone else dealt with an app that is flat out lying about arrival times?

Check the transit agency's website directly instead of the app, they usually update the PDF schedules faster than whatever third party app you're using. I had the same thing happen with a route near me and it turned out the app was pulling from an old data feed that nobody bothered to sync. Standing near the front door is smart too, drivers remember faces after a while and will wait a few extra seconds if they see you hustling.
