Realized I was boarding the express train all wrong after 2 years

I used to always wait at the far end of the platform because it was less crowded, but last Tuesday I finally noticed the painted markers on the ground showing where the doors line up for the express. Turns out the front three cars skip my stop entirely, so I'd been riding past it and backtracking every single morning. Has anyone else missed this obvious detail for way too long?
